I was a member of the OA – Suanhacky Lodge in my youth (Troop 81 – Rockaway Beach, Queens). I have been active in Scouting for the last 7 years, starting as a Tiger Den leader when my son was a Tiger, and moving up with him through Cubs, Webelos, and Boy Scouts. I am now Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 424 in Durham, NC (Mawat District, Occoneechee Council). My son will be tapped out at the upcoming OA ceremony (he doesn’t know) and I want to join the local lodge. Is there any way you can confirm my participation? (I was a Brotherhood member) – I think I participated in ordeals at TMR in about 1976 (give or take a couple of years). Thank you.
